Thompson Twins - Squares And Triangles

On this date in 1980, Thompson Twins released their debut single, "Square And Triangles". It was backed by "Could Be Her...Could Be You". The B side appeared on their debut album, A Product Of...Participation. The A side was a non-LP track that was added to a later CD re-release. No chart activity for the six-piece new wave band from London but they would achieve a lot of commercial success when pared down to three members in a few years. They disbanded in 1993.
