Studio Sweethearts - I Believe

On this date in 1979, Studio Sweethearts released their one and only single, "I Believe". It was backed by "It Isn't Me". The London punk/power pop band was comprised of Mike Rossi and Howard Bates (both ex-Slaughter & The Dogs), Phil Rowland (ex-Eater) and Billy Duffy (ex-Nosebleeds). When the single didn't go anywhere, Mike and Howard reformed Slaughter & The Dogs. Billy Duffy would go on to form Theatre Of Hate and, later, join The Cult.
