Nine Below Zero - Homework

On this date in 1980, Nine Below Zero released their debut single, "Homework". It was backed by "Is That You". It was re-released later with a different offering on the reverse, "I Can't Help Myself" and "Stop Your Naggin'". None of the tracks appeared on their debut studio album, Don't Point Your Finger. The London band started out as mod revivalists with obvious blues influence. The band later turned its attention to rhythm and blues full time and are still at it.
