Mental As Anything - If You Leave Me, Can I Come Too?

On this date in 1981, Mental As Anything released their sixth single, "If You Leave Me, Can I Come Too?". It was backed by "Assault & Flattery". This release was in Australia (it would be released later in the year in the U.K.). The A side appeared on their third album in Australia, Cats & Dogs. It would appear on the U.S. and U.K. release, If You Leave Me, Can I Come Too?, which had slightly different tracks than Cats & Dogs. The B side did not appear on either of the releases. The new wave band's members hail from New Zealand and Australia. They are still active.
