The Lurkers - Out In The Dark

On this date in 1979, The Lurkers released their sixth 7-inch record, an EP that included "Out In The Dark", "Suzie Is A Floozie", "Cyanide" and "Cyanide (pub version)". Both "Out In The Dark" and "Cyanide" were on their second album, God's Lonely Men. The other two songs were non-LP tracks that were added as bonuses when the album was re-released on CD. The EP reached the #72 spot on the U.K. singles chart. The London punk band was one of England's original punk bands, forming in 1976. They first disbanded in 1979 and have been together sporadically since.
