The Heartbreakers - Chinese Rocks

On this date in 1977, The Heartbreakers released their debut single, "Chinese Rocks". It was backed by "Born To Lose". Both songs appeared on their debut album, L.A.M.F., however, the B side was listed as "Born Too Loose" on the album even though it was the same song. The Ramones released "Chinese Rocks" a little later but there was no issue there. Dee Dee Ramone co-wrote the song with Johnny Thunders and Jerry Nolan of The Heartbreakers and Richard Hell, ex-Television and The Heartbreakers. They disbanded in 1979. They would reunite on several occasions afterwards.
