Fatal Microbes Meet Poison Girls


On this date in 1979, Poison Girls and Fatal Microbes released a joint EP. The A side contained two tracks by Poison Girls, "Closed Shop" and "Piano Lessons". The B side contained two tracks from Fatal Microbes, "Violence Grows" and "Beautiful Pictures". Fatl Microbes also released their two tracks separately as part of a three track EP. Poison Girls were a Brighton, England punk band fronted by female singer Vi Subversa but was not an all-girl band, despite their name. They disbanded in 1989. Fatal Microbes was a London, England punk band who disbanded in 1979. Lead singer Honey Bane went on to a solo career with some notable releases during that time.
