Comsat Angels - Total War

On this date in 1980, Comsat Angels released their second EP, Total War. Besides the title track, it offered "Waiting For A Miracle" and "Home Is The Range". The first two tracks appeared on their debut album, Waiting For A Miracle. The last track did not but was added as a bonus track when the album was re-released on CD. The Sheffield, England post-punk/new wave band changed their name to the C.S. Angels later on due to some pressure from Comsat, the satellite company. They disbanded in 1995 with nine albums to their credit. Their bass player was Kevin Bacon. Not that Kevin Bacon.
