The Clash - The Cost Of Living EP


On this date in 1979, The Clash released their second EP, The Cost Of Living. The four song EP included "I Fought The Law", "Gates Of The West", "Groovy Times" and "Capital Radio Two" (a re-worked version of "Capital Radio One". The EP rose to the #22 spot on the U.K. singles chart. "I Fought The Law" was released as a single and reached the #29 spot on the U.K. singles chart. The London punk band disbanded in 1986. Mick Jones formed Big Audio Dynamite. Joe Strummer was involved in many projects until his death in 2002.
