Chrome - 3rd From The Sun

On this date in 1982, Chrome released their sixth album, 3rd From The Sun. It contained the single, "Firebomb". The San Francisco post punk band consisted of Helios Creed and Damon Edge (though Creed was not a part of their debut album). They split in 1983 but Damon kept the band's name and continued to record with other musicians under that name until his death in 1995. After that, Helios reclaimed the name and has recorded under Chrome ever since.
