Brian Eno and David Byrne - The Jezebel Spirit

On this date in 1981, Brian Eno and David Byrne released their first collaborative single, "The Jezebel Spirit". It was backed by "Regiment". The 12 inch version included a third track, "Very Very Hungry". Both tracks from the 7-inch version appeared on their album together, My Life In The Bush Of Ghosts. The 12-inch bonus track appeared on the U.K. version of the album but not the U.S. version.David Byrne was still the frontman for Talking Heads at this time. Brian Eno is, of course, a musician in his own right as well as a music producer. They recently collaborated on a second album.
