Red Noise - Revolt Into Style

|

On this date in 1979, Red Noise released their second single "Revolt Into Style". It was backed by a live track called "Out Of Touch". The 12 inch version also included a third track, "Stay Young". The A side and the 12 inch bonus track appeared on their debut album, Sound On Sound. A studio version of the B side track also appeared on the album. The Wakefield, England post punk/new wave band was led by ex-Be Bop Deluxe guitarist/vocalist Bill Nelson. This would be the only album for the band. Bill Nelson would have some success as a solo artist in the not so distant future.
