The Ramones - Do You Remember Rock 'N' Roll Radio?

On this date in 1980, The Ramones released their fourteenth single, "Do You Remember Rock 'N' Roll Radio?". It was backed by "I Want You Around" in the U.S. In the U.K., it was backed by live versions of "Sheena Is A Punk Rocker" and "Rockaway Beach". The A side appeared on their sixth album, End Of The Century. The B side appeared on the soundtrack to The Ramones' movie, Rock 'N' Roll High School. The single reached the #54 spot on the U.K. singles chart but did not make any noise in the U.S. The leather-clad punk band from Queens, NY turned down their radios for good in 1996.
