Pauline Murray and The Invisible Girls - Searching For Heaven

|

On this date in 1981, Pauline Murray and The Invisible Girls released their third single, "Searching For Heaven". It was backed by "Animal Crazy". The 12 inch version had an extra track, "Visitor". None of the tracks appeared on their self-titled debut album though all three were added as bonuses when the album was re-released on CD. Pauline Murray and The Invisible Girls released just one album and three singles as a group. Pauline Murray was the ex-lead singer of Newcastle, England punk band Penetration. The Invisible Girls were the backing group for London punk poet laureate John Cooper Clarke at one time.
