The Modern Lovers - New England

In April of 1978, The Modern Lovers released their tenth single (when you count Jonathan Richman and The Modern Lovers), "New England". The B side was "Astral Plane". The A side was a live track that appeared on their fourth album, Modern Lovers Live. The B side was also a live track but was not included on the album. The protopunk band from Boston, Massachusetts, led by Jonathan Richman, once included Jerry Harrison (Talking Heads) and David Robinson (The Cars). The band no longer exists but Jonathan Richman is still performing.
