Gyro - Central Detension Centre

On this date in 1978, Gyro released their debut single, "Central Detension Centre". It was backed by "Purple And Red". The Manchester, England post punk/new wave band did not release anything else.

This Manchester band also recorded under the name Cairo for Rabid/Absurd records. I seem to remember a connection with alberto y los trios paranoios, but can't remember the details. cheers for now, Andy T
