Fun Boy Three - The Telephone Always Rings


On this date in 1982, Fun Boy Three released their fourth single, "The Telephone Always Rings". It was backed by "The Alibi". The A side appeared on their self-titled debut album. The B side was a non-LP track. The single reached the #17 spot on the U.K. singles chart. The band members, Terry Hall, Neville Staples and Lynval Golding, were all members of The Specials before leaving to form The Fun Boy Three. The Coventry, England ska band lasted until 1983.
