The Fall - Slates


On this date in 1981, The Fall released their fifth album, Slates. It was a 10-inch mini-album with six tracks. They were "Middle Mass", "An Older Lover Etc.", "Prole Art Threat", "Fit And Working Again", "Slates, Slags Etc." and "Leave The Capitol". None of the tracks were released as singles. The Manchester, England post-punk band still records and performs but it has had just one constant member, frontman Mark E. Smith. They have had 27 studio albums and numerous live albums released to date.
