Eurythmics - This Is The House

On this date in 1982, Eurythmics released their third single, "This Is The House". It was backed by "Home Is Where The Heart Is". The A side appeared on their second album, Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This). The B side was a non-LP track that was added as a bonus track when the album was re-released on CD. The 12" version included four extra tracks, all live. They were "Your Time Will Come", "Never Gonna Cry Again", "Take Me To Your Heart" and "4/4 In Leather". The last three live tracks were included on their first album, In The Garden, when re-released on CD. The London new wave band was formed by Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart when their previous band, The Tourists, disbanded. Eurythmics disbanded in 1990 but re-formed in 1999 and have had some limited recordings and performances.
