The Adverts - One Chord Wonders

|

On this date in 1977, The Adverts released their debut single, "One Chord Wonders". It was backed by "Quick Step". The A side appeared on their debut album, Crossing The Red Sea With The Adverts. The B side was a non-LP track that was added as a bonus track on some editions when the album was re-released on CD. The London punk band disbanded in 1979 after two albums. T.V. Smith went on to form T.V. Smith's Explorers.
