The Adolescents


On this date in 1981, The Adolescents released their self-titled debut album. It contained the single, "Amoeba". The Fullerton/Huntington Beach, California hardcore punk band, at one time, included Pat Smear, formerly of The Germs. The band has been off and on for years. This debut album is still the second biggest selling California punk album of all time. The first? Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables by The Dead Kennedys.
