Ultravox!

|

On this date in 1977, Ultravox! released their self-titled debut album. It contained the single "Dangerous Rhythm". At this time, the band was known as Ultravox!, with the exclamation mark following their name. They would drop that after the first two albums. John Foxx was the lead singer at this time. When he left to puruse a solo career, Midge Ure stepped in. The London post punk/new wave band lasted until 1987. They re-formed in 1992 and released two albums before shutting it down again in 1996.
