Ultravox! - Live Retro

On this date in 1978, Ultravox! released their first EP, Retro. It was a four track live 7-inch record featuring, "The Man Who Dies Everyday", "Young Savage", "The Wild, The Beautiful And The Damned" and "My Sex". These tracks featured original lead singer, John Foxx, and the band was still using an exclamation mark after their name. They would drop the exclamation point and lose their lead singer by 1979. Midge Ure was the replacement. The London post punk/new wave band lasted until 1987. They re-formed in 1992 and released two albums before shutting it down again in 1996.
