Tones On Tail

On this date in 1982, Tones On Tail released their self-titled debut EP. It contained the tracks, "A Bigger Splash", "Copper", "Means Of Escape" and "Instrumental". None of the tracks were included on their 1984 debut album, Pop. The Northampton, England goth/post punk band was a side project for Daniel Ash of Bauhaus and Glen Campling, a Bauhaus roadie. When Bauhaus disbanded in 1983, drummer Kevin Haskins joined Tones On Tail. They lasted until 1985. Ash, Haskins and another former Bauhaus member, David J, formed Love And Rockets.
