Tears For Fears - Pale Shelter (You Don't Give Me Love)


On this date in 1982, Tears For Fears released their second single, "Pale Shelter (You Don't Give Me Love)". It was backed by "The Prisoner". Both tracks appeared on their debut album, The Hurting. The single reached the #5 spot on the U.K. singles chart. The Bath, England new wave band was driven by Curt Smith and Roland Orzabel who had both in a prior band together, Graduate. Curt left the band in 1990 but returned in 2000. They are still active.
