Talking Heads - Life During Wartime

On this date in 1982, Talking Heads released their fifteenth single, a live version of "Life During Wartime". It was backed by the studio version of "Life During Wartime ". The 12 inch version carried an extra live track, "Don't Worry About The Government". The A side and the bonus 12 inch track appeared on their fifth album, a double live album called The Name Of This Band Is Talking Heads. The studio version of the song appeared on their third album, Fear Of Music. The New York City new wave band, regulars at CBGB's, disbanded in 1992. Discussion about a reunion was never productive.
