Stiff Little Fingers - Just Fade Away

|

On this date in 1981, Stiff Little Fingers released their eighth single, "Just Fade Away". It was backed by "Go For It" and a live track called "Doesn't Make It Right". The first two tracks appeared on their third studio album, Go For It. The Belfast, Northern Ireland punk band broke up in 1982 after four studio albums, one live album and numerous singles. They re-formed in 1987, led by original members Jake Burns and Ali McMordie. They occasionally release new material but have maintained a frequent performance schedule.
