The Spizzles - Spikey Dream Flowers

On this date in 1981, Spizzles released their second overall album, Spikey Dream Flowers. It contained the singles, "Central Park", "Soldier Soldier", "Dangers Of Living" and "Risk". Of course, it was the first album under their new name, Spizzles. The nearly annual name change saw them release and perform under Spizzoil, Spizzenergi, Athletico Spizz 80, The Spizzles and Spizzenergi:2, etc. The punk/new wave band from Birmingham, England has come out of the woodwork to perform and even release new material since their original breakup. They released a holiday single in 1994 under another name, Spizzmas, in 1994.
