Slaughter & The Dogs - East Side Of Town

On this date in 1980, Slaughter and The Dogs released their sixth single, "East Side Of Town". It was backed by "One By One". The A side appeared on their third album, Bite back. The B side was a non-LP track that was added to the album as a bonus track when it was re-released on CD. Despite the fact that the single slave credited the song to just "Slaughter", it was Slaughter & The Dogs. The Manchester, England punk band disbanded in 1978 but re-formed in 1979. They disbanded again in 1981. They would break up and re-form several times over the years. They are currently together and performing live.
