Pylon - Crazy

On this date in 1982, Pylon released their second single, "Crazy". It was backed by "M-Train". Both songs appeared on their second album, Chomp. The new wave band hailed from Athens, Georgia, also home to the B-52's and REM. They disbanded in 1983 but have re-formed on and off ever since. Guitarist Randy Bewley passed away on February 25, 2009 which may or may not mean that the band will call it quits permanently.

Woah. I just saw them back in November at Part Time Punks Fest. Such a great band, especially live. What a loss.
