The Jam - The Gift

In March of 1982, The Jam released their sixth album, The Gift. It contained the singles, "Town Called Malice" (#1 U.K.) and "Just Who Is The 5 O'Clock Hero?" (#8 U.K.). The album, their last studio one, reached the #1 spot on the U.K. albums chart and the #82 spot on the U.S. albums chart. By the time the Woking, England punk/mod band disbanded in 1982, they would reach the #1 spot on the U.K. albums chart four times. Bruce Foxton and Rick Buckler have toured together as The Jam since. Paul Weller has no interest in the revival.
