Fun Boy Three - FB3

On this date in 1982, Fun Boy Three released their self-titled debut album, often referred to as FB3. It contained the singles, "The Lunatics Have Taken Over The Asylum" (#20 U.K.) and "The Telephone Always Rings" (#17 U.K.) plus "T'Aint What You Do..." which was released with Bananarama and reached the #4 spot on the U.K. singles chart). The album reached the #7 spot on the U.K. albums chart. The band members, Terry Hall, Neville Staples and Lynval Golding, were all members of The Specials before leaving to form The Fun Boy Three. The Coventry, England ska band lasted until 1983.
