The Drowning Craze - Heat

|

On this date in 1982, The Drowning Craze released their third and final single, "Heat". It was backed by "Replays". The London post punk/goth band was originally fronted by Angela Jaeger, a transported New Yorker, who went on to record with Bush Tetras, The Monochrome Set and Pigbag. Bassist Simon Raymunde was later in Cocteau Twins. The band disbanded in 1982 without an album to their credit.
