The Cramps - Fever

|

On this date in 1980, The Cramps released their third single, "Fever". It was backed by "Garbageman". This single was only released in the U.K. Both tracks appeared on their debut full length album, Songs The Lord Taught Us. "Garbageman" would later be released as a single in the U.S. The psychobilly band originally formed in Sacramento, California but spent lots of their time at CBGB's in New York City gathering a following. The band effectively ended with Lux Interior's death last month.
