Altered Images - See Those Eyes

On this date in 1982, Altered Images released their fifth single, "See Those Eyes". It was backed by "How About That Then (I've Missed My Train)". The A side appeared on their second album, Pinky Blue. The B side was a non-LP track that was added as a bonus track when the album was re-released on CD. The single reached the #11 spot on the U.K. singles chart. The Glasgow, Scotland new wave band, led by the lovely Clare Grogan, released three albums before disbanding in 1983. Guitarist/bass player Johnny McElhone went on to form Hipsway.
