On this date in 1980, U.K. Subs released their first live album, Live Kicks. The 13 album tracks were actually recorded in 1977 and 1978 at The Roxy in London. The London punk band was against its release but it was released anyway. The London punk band is still releasing albums and performing. Charlie Harper has been the frontman from start until the present. They were originally called U.K. Subversives.
