Thompson Twins - Set

On this date in 1982, Thompson Twins released their second album, Set. It contained the singles, "In The Name Of Love", "Perfect Game", "Make Believe" and "Runaway". The band was a six-member band at this time. Thomas Dolby played some keyboards on the album. The album reached the #48 spot on the U.K. albums chart. After this album, the London new wave band cut back to three members, the lineup that would bring them commercial success. They lasted until 1993.

A remixed version of the "in the name of love" changed the sound and looks of the band. From 1982 they were purely a synthpop band.
