Slaughter & The Dogs - Quick Joey Small

On this date in 1978, Slaughter and The Dogs released their fourth single, "Quick Joey Small". It was backed by "Come On Back". The A side appeared on their debut studio album, Do It Dog Style. The B side was a non-LP track that was added as a bonus track when the album was re-released on CD. Guitarist Mick Ronson played on this record. In fact, the band took their name from Ronson's Slaughter On 10th Avenue album. The Manchester, England punk band disbanded in 1978 but re-formed in 1979. They disbanded again in 1981. They would break up and re-form several times over the years. They are currently together and performing live.
