Rubber City Rebels - Young And Dumb

On this date in 1980, Rubber City Rebels released their debut single, "Young And Dumb". It was backed by "Paper Dolls". Both tracks appeared on their self-titled debut album. The band was originally from Akron, Ohio but relocated to Los Angeles. The power pop/proto punk band released only one full album (they had a split LP with Bizarros) and three singles before disbanding in 1988. They are back together and recently released a new record.
