Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark - Red Frame/White Light

On this date in 1980, Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark released their second single, "Red Frame/White Light". It was backed by "I Betray My Friends". The A side appeared on their self-titled debut album. The B side was a non-LP track, though it was added as a bonus track when the album was re-released on CD. The Cheshire, England new wave band was led by Paul Humphreys (ex-Dalek I Love You) and Andy McCluskey. When Humphries left in 1989, McCluskey kept the band going until 1996. They have recently re-formed with the classic line-up.
