Klaus Nomi


On this date in 1982, Klaus Nomi released his self-titled debut album. It contained the singles, "Lightning Strikes", "Total Eclipse", "Nomi Song" and "You Don't Own Me". The German experimental new wave artist who was once a backup singer for David Bowie, died of complications from AIDS on August 6, 1983.
