Fun Boy Three - It Ain't What You Do

On this date in 1982, The Fun Boy Three released their third single, "It Ain't What You Do". It was backed by "The Funrama Theme". The A side appeared on their self-titled debut album. A version of the B side did too. The single reached the #4 spot on the U.K. singles chart with help, of course, from Bananarama who provided some vocal help on the song. The band members, Terry Hall, Neville Staples and Lynval Golding, were all members of The Specials before leaving to form their own band. The Coventry, England ska band lasted until 1983.
