Crossing The Red Sea With The Adverts


On this date in 1978, The Adverts released their debut album, Crossing The Red Sea With The Adverts. It contained the singles, "One Chord Wonders", "No Time To Be 21" (#34 U.K.) and "Safety In Numbers". The London punk band disbanded in 1979 after two albums. T.V. Smith went on to form T.V. Smith's Explorers.
