Crass - Nagasaki Nightmare

|

On this date in 1981, Crass released their second single, "Nagasaki Nightmare". It was backed by "Big A, Little A". Neither track appeared on an album. The single reached the #1 spot on the U.K. indie singles chart. The Essex, U.K. punk band released five albums and several EP's and singles before disbanding in 1984.

The "Best Before 1984" album realeased in 1986 had both songs on it, which made me happy at the time- since I could not buy the single. Thanks for this post it took me back.
