U2 - New Year's Day

In January of 1983, U2 released their ninth single, "New Year's Day". It was backed by "Treasure (Whatever Happened To Pete The Chop)". The A side appeared on their third album, War. The B side was a non-LP track. The single reached the #10 spot on the U.K. singles chart and the #53 spot on the U.S. singles chart. The new wave/rock band from Dublin, Ireland is, as we all know, still going strong.
