Red Rockers - Guns Of Revolution

On this date in 1981, Red Rockers released their debut EP, Guns Of Revolution. Aside from the title track, it also included "Teenage Underground" and "Nothing To Lose". The first two tracks wound up on their debut album, Condition Red. The New Orleans punk band moved to San Francisco not long after this release and changed their musical style to power pop. Certainly an interesting career choice considering that New Orleans would have been more open to power pop and that the San Francisco scene would have perfectly suited to their original style. The band broke up in 1985 after three albums.
