Honey Bane - Turn Me ON Turn Me OFF

On this date in 1981, Honey Bane released her third 7 inch record, highlighted by the lead track, Turn Me ON Turn Me OFF. Aside from the title track, the EP contained "In Dreams", "Negative Exposure" and "Taint Nobody's Biz-Ness If I Do". The London punk singer was the former front woman (actually, teenage girl) for Fatal Microbes and also fronted Donna & The Kebabs before going solo. There was no album released of her as a solo artist while she was still performing. She left the music industry in 1983 but has since resurfaced to perform occasionally.

She was a contempary of Toyah Wilcox, and as good, just a shame she came a few years after true punk died, she could have been a a big star
