Classix Nouveaux - Guilty


On this date in 1981, Classix Nouveaux released their third single, "Guilty". It was backed by "Night People". The 12 inch version had a different B side, "Robot's Dance". The A side appeared on their debut album, Night People. The two B sides were non-LP tracks that were added as bonuses when the album was re-released on CD. The single reached the #43 spot on the U.K. singles chart. London post punk/new wave band was formed when formed after Jak Airport and BP Hurding left X-Ray Spex. They disbanded in 1985.
