The Suburbs - Credit In Heaven

On this date in 1980, The Suburbs released their second full-length album, Credit In Heaven. It was a double album. It contained the single, "Music For Boys". The post punk/new wave band hailed from Minneapolis, Minnesota, the same playground as Husker Du and The Replacements. They released three albums, two EP's and several singles before disbanding in 1987. They have re-formed on several occasions since.

Chan, the lead singer, has a great new band called The New Standards, which plays lounge-ish versions of bands like the Replacements.
