The Soft Boys - Two Halves For The Price Of One


On this date in 1981, The Soft Boys released their third full-length album, Two Halves For The Price Of One. Actually, it was released for them since the band had broken up in 1980. The album contained five studio tracks and five live tracks. Among the studio tracks was their single, "Only The Stones Remain". The Cambridge, England punk/post-punk/neo psychedelic band disbanded in 1980 after two albums, a few EP's and some singles. Robyn Hitchcock went on to form The Egyptians. Kimberley Rew went on to play guitar in Katrina and The Waves.
